RCM Annual Conference and Trade Show has been held for over 24 years. During that time, volunteers have played a key role in guaranteeing its success. Whether they assist in setting up the trade show and social events, or helping at the registration desk, the volunteers contribute in making our annual event a tremendous success!

During the conference, volunteers are assigned various task, which includes setting up and tearing down the Trade Show, troubleshooting technical problems such AV projectors, sound equipment, etc. assisting with hospitality, giving a hand at the registration desk, and more...

How does it works?

As a volunteer you can attend all the conference events including sessions, forum, social events, etc., but you are required to dedicate you time and volunteer in setting-up and tearing down the conference events first. The busiest day is Wednesday, which is the day we register most people. Thursday and Friday are also busy, but we make sure that the volunteers are able to take in as much of the conference as possible. The work schedule is prepared by the Volunteer Coordinator who manages the volunteer crews. Training on all positions will be provided.

Roles

Registration Attendant
Confirm delegates are registered, hand-out name tags, input data from evaluation forms into computer.


Session Monitors

Meet presenter and ensure all room requirements are as requested and AV equipment is operating correctly, introduce the speaker, facilitate question and answers, attend session and address any logistic situations that arise.


Tradeshow attendant

Assist with set-up of tradeshow, attend to requirements of the tradeshow booth participants


Event Runner

Assist the logistics and set-up events.
