  • Brandon UniversityBachelor of Physical Education Studies. The BPES is a three-year undergraduate degree offering three streams of study: Exercise Science and Fitness, Recreation and Sport Management,  and Teaching.

Our research covers a wide variety of aspects of physical and mental well-being, and our programs prepare students for careers as kinesiologists, physical educators, recreation/tourism specialists and coaches.

Robertson College offers a Recreation Program Leader Diploma. Recreation Program Leader graduates have the foundational knowledge and skills to qualify for career opportunities as Recreation, Sports and Fitness Program Coordinators within the Recreation and Leisure sector.


  • University of Winnipeg: Department of Kinesiology and Applied Health has three concentrated programs of study: Athletic Therapy, Physical Education and Health, and Kinesiology.  Our faculty members have varied research interests such as concussion in sport, respiratory physiology, coach mentorship, clinical biomechanics, athletes' use of mental imagery, and physical literacy
