Who We Are

Recreation Manitoba is a non-profit membership based association that provides a voice and leadership in shaping the future of recreation in Manitoba.

We are the provincial member organization of the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA). We acknowledge community leaders from our past for recognizing recreation and parks as an integral part of the social fabric of a great province.

Manitobans can celebrate in the history of recreation and parks and be proud of the 100 plus years we have contributed to the quality of life for all Manitobans. We are rich in parks, facilities, services, programs, volunteers and dedicated, committed professionals.

Recreation Manitoba is a forum for recreation practitioners and volunteers across Manitoba to share ideas and work in partnership toward building a better Manitoba.
